Tri-Valley League Meet #1 at Malibu
Thu, Oct 2nd - The Lions raced the TVL #1 meet at Malibu. This was the fourth time in OC history that the Lions raced on this Malibu campus course and first time as a TVL member. The last visit was in the 2005 season.
Boys JV placed second to Oak Park and defeated Carpinteria, Malibu and Fillmore. Stephen Cooper led the way in 19:02. Jacob White (19:27), Taylor Losi (20:07), Jack Ramsey (20:37), Kelley Cislo (20:45), Devin Long (21:07) and Grant Foraker (21:13) made up the JV team score. The JV "B" was Pablo Gomez (21:35), Kevin Sutman (22:51), Nick Oddi (23:27), Carl Neimi (23:29) and Joel Begley (24:41). Both the boys JV "A" and "B" teams ran the fastest times in OC history on the Malibu campus course.
Girls varsity placed third behind Oak Park and La Reina while defeating Carpinteria, Malibu and Fillmore. Cristy Garcia tied Roseanne Fleming's OC record and OC sophomore record on the course with a 4th place 19:28. Emily Fuld placed 7th in 20:30 setting the OC senior record. Tina Boskovich (21:31), Niki MacWhirter (21:35), Brittani Gardella (22:13), Fallon Cislo (22:17) and Catherine Price (23:26) made up the GV roster. Fallon's time is an OC junior record. The girls set the OC team time record breaking the old record by 3:35.
The boys varsity placed second behind Oak Park defeating Carpinteria, Malibu and Fillmore. Charlie Petrie cruised to a 2nd place 16:37 OC record. Hunter Hays (17:58), Ryan Huning (18:38), Vincent Colarossi (18:51), Nick Matra (18:51), Rob Thomson (19:16) and AJ King (19:21) comprised the varsity roster. The boys varsity set the OC team time record bettering the old record by 1:17. The previous record was set by the 2004 team which was the first team in OC history to make the State Finals.
The girls JV closed the the day's competition with a third place behind Oak Park and La Reina while defeating Carpinteria, Malibu and Fillmore. Megan Huning led the way in her high school cross country debut (23:06) followed by Madagan Riley (23:25), Jackie Brody (23:51), Brittany Burr (24:35), Clancee Wasson (25:21), Natalie Zaas (28:22), Stephanie Andresen (30:49) and Ashley McCabe (32:49). The girls JV set the OC team time best.

Tri-Valley League Meet #2 at Carpinteria
Thu, Oct 16th - The Lions raced the TVL #1 meet at the Carpinteria high school campus course which was a last minute change due to the wildfire smoke in air at the scheduled site (Oak Cyn Park). This was the firsh time in OC history that the Lions have raced on the Carpinteria campus course. The course was 3.25 miles.
Boys JV placed third to Oak Park and Carpinteria while defeating Malibu and Fillmore. The boys were short two top runners due to injury and illness. Taylor Losi and Jacob White led the way in 20:18-20:19 respectively. Grant Foraker (21:20), Devin Long (21:23), Kelley Cislo (21:31), Carl Neimi (23:29) and Pablo Gomez (24:00) made the BJV top 7. Nick Oddi (24:08), Joel Begley (25:52) and Justin Schoppe (26:00) also ran JV.

Tina Boskovich (21:37), Niki MacWhirter (21:48), Brittani Gardella (22:36), Catherine Price (22:50), Fallon Cislo (24:56 - did not feel well) and Marlo Smith (26:00 - her season debut) made up the GV roster.

Hunter Hays (18:13), Stephen Cooper (18:50), Ryan Huning (19:03), Nick Matra (19:11), Rob Thomson (19:22) and AJ King (19:48) comprised the varsity roster.
The girls JV closed the the day's competition with a third place behind Oak Park and La Reina while defeating Carpinteria, Malibu and Fillmore. Megan Huning led the way in her second race of the season (22:40) followed by Madagan Riley (24:18), Jackie Brody (24:34), McCartney Ruff (26:36 - HS cross country debut), Natalie Zaas (27:36), Brittany Burr (28:28), Jenna Smrz (35:43) and Lillian Khosravi (43:36).
