OC's Fastest Ever!!

Saturday, September 26th -- The boys top 5 ran the fastest team time in OC history at the Woodbridge Invitational. Charlie (16:04), Ethan (16:17), Hunter (16:30), Mike (16:48) and Nick C (17:00) combined for 82:39. The previous best of 86:06 was run at College Park by the eventual State Finals team of 2004. That's right 3:27 faster!! Additionally, Rafael (17:10) and Justin (17:16) improved the top 7 OC record to 117:05 (old record 122:44, a 5:39 improvement). The records kept coming with the narrowest time gap between the 1st-5th runners (:56) and 1st-7th runners (1:12). just one step closer to the podium at State Finals.

The second fastest 7 runners for OC (otherwise noted as BJV) also flew around the Woodbridge course. Tyler (17:46) ran the fastest BJV time in OC history. Greg (18:23), David (18:37), Nick M (19:27), Dylan B (20:03) combined for a BJV team time of 94:33 to rank as the #2 BJV performance in OC history. The record 94:25, they missed it by just 8 seconds. Anders (20:20), Scott (20:41), and Kevin (24:35) completed the boys performers.

Roseanne led the girls with a 18:09 (her 2nd fastest lifetime). Samantha and Morgan PR'd a 20:20 and 21:11 respectively. Emily (23:14), Kayla (25:21), Sara (26:19), Marta (26:52) all posted personal bests. The girls top 5 team time was 108:12.
